Shelters are wonderful, fosters are fantastic, transports rock, adoption is to be commended, BUT the ultimate answer is to spay and neuter. We have had great successes but still so much more to go! Butte Spay/Neuter is always in need of funding for our clinics (they may be free or donation only to the public, but they are expensive to host) and also funding for our $30-off s/n certificates. Donations can be mailed to PO Box 544, Butte MT 59703.

Our annual Santa Paws weekend is coming soon. December 9th and 10th, Saturday and Sunday at the Butte Plaza Mall. Two - 5"x7" photos for $16.00. This is a fund raiser for our certificate program. Our certificate program provides $30-off certificates to folks that need a little help getting their pets spayed or neutered at a local veterinarian. Cats in carriers and dogs on leashes, please. Entire families welcome, and pets large and small. Come visit us at the Butte Plaza Mall!

Regular Spay-Neuter Clinics are our main events (see photos in slide show at right).

Butte Spay Neuter Task Force's annual Santa Paws fundraiser is held every winter at the Butte Plaza Mall. Pictures are taken of your pet(s) and/or your families with Santa Paws (in slide show at right, with Bubs). This raises some funds needed for our certificate program.

In October, a Butte Spay/Neuter volunteer, Pat Scown, organizes the annual pet blessing. This is a day for people to bring their pets to St. Ann's church to be blessed. There is a small parade around the church courtyard and usually some treats - both for humans and their four-legged friends. Donations are taken with proceeds going to Butte Spay/Neuter Task Force.
